The B.C. River Forecast Centre has ENDED a Flood Watch for the St. Mary River and adjacent areas and the Kaslo River and adjacent areas.

Rivers have reached peak levels from localized rainfall and on-going snowmelt. An additional period of high flows is possible this weekend due to rainfall, and additional advisories may be issued for this later in the week.
 
Fast-flowing rivers pose increased risk to safety. Stay away from rivers and river banks, which can be unstable. Never drive through floodwaters, as unseen hazards and current can be life-threatening.
