Current situation

The Thompson-Nicola Regional District has issued an Evacuation Order for Downing Provincial Park due to the Pear Lake (C40983) wildfire. This wildfire poses a threat to life and safety. Anyone in the area must evacuate NOW.

Approximately 38 addressed properties east of Downing Park remain on Evacuation Alert, located on Jesmond Road and Pavilion-Clinton Road.
