The Thompson-Nicola Regional District has issued an Evacuation Alert for properties near South Green Lake, including Boyd Bay campground at Green Lake Provincial Park, due to the Tin Cup Creek wildfire (C40925). Anyone in the affected area must be ready to leave on short notice.
Impacted areas are as follows:
- 3640 to 4110 North Bonaparte Rd, including the Boyd Bay campsite at Green Lake Provincial Park
- 2248 Hutchison Rd
- 2253 Hutchison Rd
- All areas as outlined on the map
