Current situation
The Thompson-Nicola Regional District has issued an Evacuation Order for 1 address in Electoral Area “N” (6705 Juliet Drive) due to the Mine Creek wildfire. Anyone in the affected area must leave immediately.
The Coquihalla Highway (Highway 5) is closed between Hope and Merritt due to this wildfire. Avoid the area, if possible. Use Highway 1 and Highway 3 as detours.
