The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District has issued an Evacuation Alert for the Texas Creek area south of Lillooet in Electoral Area A due to the Riley Creek wildfire. Anyone in the area must be ready to leave on short notice.
The Evacuation Alert is in effect for the following areas:
- Texas Creek Rd: 39 properties
- Kennedy Rd: 8 properties
- McNary Rd: 4 properties
- Purvis Rd: 3 properties
- Jorgensen Rd: 3 properties
- Lytton-Lillooet Hwy 12: 1 property
