Evacuation Order issued for August Lake area

Current situation
The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) has issued an Evacuation Order in Electoral Area H near August Lake due to the August Lake wildfire. The wildfire is a threat to life and safety. Anyone in the affected area must leave immediately.

The Order is for areas near August Lake including the Princeton Golf Club, properties on Taylor Mill Drive and properties:
- South of Highway 3
- West to Amber Hill Road and Darcy Mountain Road adjacent of Sewer Treatment Plant
- East to Willies Ranch Road

Follow all directions from officials:
If you are in the area under Evacuation Order, you are at risk. You must leave immediately.
