Evacuation Alert issued for area north of Klahkamich 17

Current situation
The Lytton First Nation has issued an Alert for the area north of Klahkamich 17 due to the Saw Creek wildfire. Anyone in the affected area must be ready to leave on short notice.
There is no need to evacuate now, but be prepared to do so on short notice if an evacuation order is issued. If an evacuation order is issued, evacuees can report to the Battlefields Community Hall for shelter.
The Lytton First Nation has also issued Evacuation Orders for IR 17 and IR 20 Kitzowitz and an Evacuation Alert for IR 18 Klickkumcheen.
