Evacuation Alert UPGRADED to Evacuation Order for Canyon Alpine

Current situation
The Fraser Valley Regional District has UPGRADED the Evacuation Alert to an Evacuation Order for the area of Canyon Alpine due to the ongoing wildfire risk from the Brunswick Creek (V10742) and Ainslie Creek (V10755) wildfires. Anyone in the affected area must leave NOW.

Follow instructions from emergency officials. Evacuees in need of in-person support can go to Shxwhá:y Village, 44680 Schweyey Road, Chilliwack.
A travel advisory is in effect for Highway 1. The highway may close on short or no notice due to wildfire activity. Check DriveBC.ca for the latest updates.
