The Fraser Valley Regional District has UPGRADED the Evacuation Alert to an Evacuation Order for Electoral Area A – Boston Bar area due to the Brunswick Creek and Ainslie Creek wildfires. If you are in the area you must leave NOW.
Evacuees in need of in-person support can go to Shxwhá:y Village, 44680 Schweyey Road, Chilliwack.
Travel on Highway 1 may be impacted by wildfire activity. Check the DriveBC website for the most up-to-date information.
The Evacuation Order applies only to lands and properties within Fraser Valley Regional District Electoral Areas. Check the Evacuation Order below for a list of impacted properties.

Recommended actions for Evacuation Orders

Follow all directions from officials:
If you are in the area under Evacuation Order, you are at risk. You must leave immediately.
Refer to the Evacuation Order for information specific to your community.
Create a profile or login to
Emergency Support Services (ESS) and learn how to access short-term basic support.
Additional supports for evacuees include:
- Cultural Welcoming Centre: In-person help for any evacuee at Shxwhá:y Village, 44680 Schweyey Road,
Chilliwack. - BC Evacuee Helpline: 1-800-387-4258. Staff can guide you through registration, complete your needs
assessment, and answer questions about your evacuation.
