Evacuation Alert issued for Lessard Lake area

Current situation

The Cariboo Regional District and Ulkatcho First Nation have issued an Evacuation Alert for the Lessard Lake Fire Area due to the Lessard Lake wildfire (C50927). Anyone in the affected area must be ready to leave on short notice.

The following IR lands are included:


  • IR Cahoose 12
  • IR Andy Cahoose Meadow 16
  • IR Tilkatko 17
  • IR Cahoose 8
  • IR Willow Meadow 9
  • IR Blackwater Meadow 11
  • IR Casimiel Meadow 15A
  • IR Louis Squinas Ranch 14
  • IR Cahoose 10
  • Abuntlet Lake 4
