Current situation
The Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District, City of Port Alberni and Tseshaht First Nation have issued an Evacuation Alert for the Franklin River Road, Tseshaht Reserve No.2 (Tiipis also known as Polly’s Point), and Cameron Heights areas due to wildfire. Anyone in the affected areas must be ready to leave on short notice.
