Evacuation Alert rescinded & Evacuation Order reduced for Bamfield & Cherry Creek areas

Current situation
The Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District (ACRD) has rescinded the Evacuation Alert and decreased the size of the Evacuation Order issued due to the Mount Underwood wildfire.
The Evacuation Order area has been amended to include approximately KM7 to approximately KM10 of Franklin River Road. The public is not authorized to enter the Evacuation Order area.
