BC EMERGENCY ALERT: The Regional Districts of Okanagan-Similkameen and Central Okanagan have issued an Evacuation Order due to the Bald Range wildfire. Anyone in the affected area must leave NOW.
BC EMERGENCY ALERT issued by the Regional Districts of Okanagan-Similkameen and Central Okanagan due to wildfire.
Evacuate immediately if you are in the following area: the Brent Road and Log Chute Road area south of Peachland, Faulder, from Darke Lake south to Bathville Rd, including Garnet Valley and the Deer Ridge areas, west of Cartwright on Prairie Valley Road and Princeton-Summerland Hwy to km 15.
The Bald Range wildfire is creating a significant risk to life.
Evacuate to 550 Eckhardt Avenue West in Penticton, or the Westbank Lions Community Hall in West Kelowna.
If you are unable to evacuate call 9-1-1.
