Provincial State of Emergency: COVID-19 Information & Resources



The Government of British Columbia has extended the Provincial State of Emergency until the end of day July 7, 2020. The state of emergency allows the Province to continue to use extraordinary powers under the Emergency Program Act to support the COVID-19 pandemic response. The state of emergency will be in effect for 14 days, but may be extended or rescinded as necessary.

BC Restart Plan

The BC Restart Plan takes a phased approach to mitigating the impacts of COVID-19. On June 24th, 2020, the Government of British Columbia announced a gradual transition to Phase 3 of the BC Restart Plan, which includes the safe and respectful return of travel and tourism within the province.
