COVID-19: Public Health Emergency

On March 17th, 2020, the provincial health officer declared a Public Health Emergency in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This declaration enables the provincial health officer to enact further measures to protect British Columbians, such as enforcement of orders limiting public gatherings of 50 people or more.
