Evacuation Order issued July 5, 2020 at 16:30 to all units at 1055 Old Cariboo Rd. has been rescinded for units 1-15, with the exception of Unit #13, which is to remain on evacuation order. For more information, contact the Village of Cache Creek 250-457-6237

Tsunami Notification Zones

B.C.’s coastal communities have been divided into five  tsunami notification zones
  • Zone A: North Coast and Haida Gwaii
  • Zone B: Central Coast and Northeast Vancouver Island Coast, including Kitimat, Bella Coola and Port Hardy
  • Zone C: Outer West Coast of Vancouver Island from Cape Scott to Port Renfrew
  • Zone D: Juan de Fuca Strait from Jordan River to Greater Victoria, including the Saanich Peninsula
  • Zone E: Strait of Georgia including the Gulf Islands, Greater Vancouver and Johnstone Strait
