An Evacuation Order and a BC Emergency Alert has been issued by the Thompson-Nicola Regional District due to wildfire. Impacted residents should evacuate the area immediately.

BC EMERGENCY ALERT issued by TNRD due to the Lower East Adams Lake wildfire.

Evacuate immediately if you are in the following area: Turtle Valley

The wildfire poses a threat to human life.
Evacuate west via the Shuswap-Chase Creek Road and Highway 1. Report to McArthur Island – 1655 Island Pkwy Kamloops.
If you are unable to evacuate call 9-1-1.

  • Stop what you are doing and follow the directions provided.
  • Follow all instructions from local officials.
  • ESS Reception Centres: Report to McArthur Island – 1655 Island Pkwy Kamloops
  • Do not call 911 for additional information unless you are trapped and unable to evacuate.
