Prepare for an evacuation
Learn how to prepare for an evacuation and what to do if you need to leave on short notice.

1. Check your home or tenant insurance.
Review your coverage before an emergency. It may help cover temporary living expenses if you’re evacuated.

2. Create an Emergency Support Services profile.
If you are evacuated and need government support, having a profile will make it easier to access assistance.

3. If you are evacuated and need support, log into your profile to access Emergency Support Services online, by phone or at a reception centre.
