Evacuation Order: McLeese Lake, Fraser River, Polley Lake, Moffat Creek, 150 Mile. Issued by Cariboo Regional District. July 15, 2017



Due to the threat of wildfire, the Cariboo Regional District has issued an Evacuation Order for the following:

The Evacuation Order is in effect for the following areas:

  • From the Fraser River east to the Beaver Lake Road; North to the Quesnel River; East along the Quesnel River to approximately Hydraulic; South East to Antoine Lake; South to MacIntosh Lake; east to the existing order at 150 Mile.

NEW EVACUATION ROUTE UPDATE: If you are beyond the Horsefly/Likely Junction you cannot access Highway 97 South at 150 Mile House. You can access Highway 97 North via Beaver Valley Road to McLeese Lake then proceeding north to Prince George.

For people south of the Horsefly/Likely junction, Highway 97 is accessible at 150 Mile House. Follow Highway 97 South to Highway 24 (South of 100 Mile House); follow Highway 24 to Little Fort. At the Little Fort Junction you will be directed to an ESS Reception Centre.

For areas that can join Highway 97 north of Blue Lake, the evacuation route is north on Highway 97.
